Style Meet Sound
An international Interactive Contest Sponsored by Roxy and JBL to promote their new line of fashionable headphones. Prizes included a trip to Biarritz for ROxy Jam 10 and surf lessons from a member of the Roxy surf team. The campaign was run in Belguim, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, and the UK.
In the contest, users were prompted to create a unique animated video postcard and share it with friends. The animation technology was based on the Minivid animation platform Laurence helped to create. The experience was fully interactive, and only took seconds to learn and minutes for a user to become a brand ambassador by creating a totally unique cartoon and sending it on to their friends.
Laurence created all characters and settings used within the toolkit based on popular fashions from Roxy swim and surfwear.
